You should discharge because your batts can hold memorys. so if you discharge you will get more out of your batts in each run, you can build a discharger for about $10 at the most, but if you want to buy one its still good.

you drive your car until it you can tell the batery is starting to go, then put it on a discharger until the bulbs go out, and take it off RIGHT AWAY so youu dont discharge it too much.

DON'T let the bulbs turn off all the way. When they start to go dim (I let mine go really dim before they shutoff) then unplug the discharger from the battery. I would suggest a Deans lightbulb kit for around $26 at tower hobbies. It doubles as a car stand (if you don't have one) and it protects the bulbs from breaking when hauling them around. It is a 20a discharge.

Here is the link at tower hobbies: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXKX50&P=7

The bulbs? sorry, I have a Piranha CX-15 Fast Charger (with meter, heh) so I get the drift of it all, but I'm not sure how long I should discharge. Thanks.
