.....is this truck any good? My LHS has a few and I was wondering if it was worth my money? Is it a nice step up from Traxxas? Are parts hard to find? Better than a Rustler? Sorry about so many questions, but my Xmas gift didn't materialize http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/frown.gif, so I am now having to get it all on my own. Sux to be me. Anyway, they have the RTR version and was really thinking about it.
Oh another question who makes there radio systems? So I'll know where to go and find crystals for it.
Thanx! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

WELL, the Type R is a good one(not the RTR) BUT, if they do not stock parts, it is useless, and be an unenjoyable truck, the RTR's and Type R's do not even share some of the same parts, the RTR in my opinion is not better than traxxas

the parts will be prety hard to find. most hoby shops don't carry them. Traxxas cars are beter than the rtr version. If you realy wan't a kyosho don't get the rtr. You could get a losi or ae for the same price.

If your interested in the Ultimate Type R racing truck it is awsome. I really love this truck because it combines the best of both worlds of the associated and the losi trucks. It is a good truck for anybody who dosen't want to go with either losi or associated trucks. It is very competive against both. And as for ordering parts I bought my truck through Tower Hobbies and order all my parts thru them also and I do it all over the phone and using my credit card. They are very good in the rush deliverly department. I know first hand because I'm in the Navy and I bring my cars all over the world and I"ve recieved my parts anywhere from overnight to 3 days later. This truck isfor those who want to race competively. As for the traxas trucks those are great for the beginner who wants to play around and have fun. They can be made to hang with the best of them with a few modificatons. Also the same thing goes with the parts Go TO Tower Hobbies.

well its the RTR version, and not the type R. I don't think my LHS have many parts for it. Can't use Tower as someone sugested, no credit card. Oh well I guess it seems that all roads keep pointing back to Traxxas trucks and AE or HPI cars. That's about all my LHS stocks.
