tc3 needs more speed

my friend just bought a associated tc3, completely hopped up. a chamelion trinity motor ,its fast ,but he wants more speed . would a d4 help , or what would be his best bet for more speed????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????

This should be in the Electric Forum, but you try either changing the gearing, buying a mod motor (make sure the ESC can handle it if it has low turns), or buying a brushless system.
