hey yall corie from uptown manhattan ...at the time im running my revo with 3racing chassis with a modded 323 and pro line 23mm hex with foc and close ratio gears.....2 .and when im not running my revo im bashing my savage .it has an rb 28 in it with a 3 speed tranny...... :)

I am in Flushing. i have a Rc10GT. I have seen people in Flushing meadow park by the unisphere racing their cars 2 weeks ago. I dont know if its a weekly thing or if its a occasional thing. I am gonna go this sunday to see if anybody is there and find out if people meet every sunday.

Hey Everyone,

I've recently moved to LIC and decided to get back into the RC world. I own a Traxxas SRT which is way beyond its prime. I'd like to upgrade to the T4 but don't want to unless I know of a hobby shop where parts are available. Any places I should check out? Let me know. Thanks.

Also, does anyone in the area race/bash 1/10th Touring cars? I was also looking at the T-spec as an inexpensive way into the on-road scene.

Hey man! Welcome to the boards. There are three places you can race 10th touring cars. Neither one is in LIC, but if you can get around...check out RC Madness (http://www.rcmadness.com) they have a top notch facility with on-road and off road, nitro and electric racing. They even race 5th scale on-road and of course they race 8th scale. The only problem is they are in CT. But well worth the trip.

There is another place that is a bit closer to you. It's called Willis Hobbies (http://www.willishobbies.com) it's on Willis ave in Mineola Long Island. Prolly about a 20 minute drive from you.

The the last place is out in Selden Long Island. It's calledSouth Shore Hobby & Raceway (http://www.southshorehobby.com/) They have an amazing indoor carpet track and a very well stocked hobby shop. That track is prolly a 45 minute drive from you.

And finaly, if you like to bash, There are alot of us on staten Island that bash every Sunday. If your interested just let me know and I'll tell you when and where the action is.
