I know this has probably been asked a couple of hundred times, but hey guys I need some help.
I've got a TA04 and obviously a P2K a pro, I replaced the stock pinion and spur, I went to 64 pitch Robinson's.
I run a 125 spur and 38, 39, 40, and 44 teeth pinions, the 44 was my last acquisition(looking for top speed)
I'm really going nuts, the course I race at is both fast and technical.
See, I found the 44 gives me enough top speed
but not enough takeoff, I **** coming out of the tight turns.
when I go lower (38,39,40) take off is great but I get burned at the straightaways.
Is the promised gear between 40 and 44?
also since the P2K is high on torque, what's the best way to gear it and take advantage of that.
Man this is like 3 questions in one, but please bare with me guys.
to further take advantage of the P2Ks qualities should I replace the brushes and/or
springs, the ones that came with the motor have about 15-20 runs. Please help guys I'm getting really frustated.
