Street Trucks

I think we need some more street trucks. Let's see what you got.

Here's my latest. It's a Pro-Line Silverado on a Losi XXX-S with HPI rims and tires. It's painted with Tamiya copper on bottom, 2 thin coats of Pactra pearl white backed with metallic black on top, and the stripe is pearl white backed with Tamiya gold. All cans and the masking was cut from blue tape.

The pics were taken on the back roof of my house. It's kinda like a balcony but no railings.

Looking good there, creep!!! Just a suggestion....maybe tint the windows a little bit so that you can't see the distortions in the clear areas. Maybe even shoot some semi-gloss bumper paint on the bed cover. Looks good though. :)

Is the copper backed with the pearlwhite? Thats the color i want to do my new drift project in. Looks great!

The copper is just strait copper, no backing or pearls. I did a CTS-V with Tamiya translucent orange and backed it with copper and it gave it a little more depth.

calvin, if you want to post a pic of the flat black F-150 again I wouldn't complain. That truck was bad@$$! :D

Yeah I didn't notice how bad the windows looked until I posted the pics. They look a little more distorted than most other bodies. as for the bed cover I'm thinking it's more like a painted to match fiberglass flushmount and not a vinyl roll-up. :cool:

Pitstops what color is that on the caddy? I've tried using candy and metallic blues but they never come out BLUE enough.
