i'm nitro fantatic but i can't take the smell anymore!

So with my topic i'm off on a quest to find a good electric truck that has potential. I'm going to use this truck on the road/baseball field dirt. Plus the occasional jumping.....but i need something that can go throu grass....I'm thinking stadium truck like the traxxas rustler but it's so low to the ground won't the chassie get all scratched up off of jumps? Well better yet is this truck good at jumping?

a stampede is from traxxas and is good, very good ground clearnce and a exellent jumper

Stadium trucks are actually better at jumping than most moster trucks. They set faster when they land, and they jump straighter. Unless your going over logs in the back yard, the ground clearance doesnt matter. Most, if not all moster/trucks bottom out, but thats good, id rather have it bottom out than break the chass, bend suspension parts, break arms, and bearings just because you dont want your chassis to bend. Because electric isnt as fast as nitro, make sure you make all your jumps with a lip, a regular jump then an extra steep launch at the top, so you can pull your back and dowon in the air instead of wailing on the gas. Or make them all curved. All trucks will be good with those kind of jumps. As for the rustler, its a great choise, I had one. TIP: Never build a landing ramp that has a wall for a backing (wood on bricks) it can snap the chassis, like mine.

Any vehicle can bottom out!But you can bet you rear end that a stadium truck will bottom out 99% of the time.My electric Pede could jump 5 to 6 feet offff the ground and not bottom out and it would not bounce.It depends on set up.Get the Pede youll love it I havent heard anyone say they never liked their Pede.And it will go threw grass faster than a stadium truck due to high ground clearence.I was faster than my friends T3 in the grass.

i have a rustler and want a stampede because of the higher ground clearence stampede is the best

If you want to do some speedy off-roading go with the 'Pede. Its a blast. Its got enough ground clearance that its fun in grass and jumps like a maniac. It doesnt corner quite as well as a stadium truck but is just as fast. The added groud clearance=added fun.
