should i get a: Trinity Speed Gem 2 Zircon 9T Double Motor for my traxxas rustler? what type of speed control can take any motor? can't be to expensive

Unless your going all out for speed i wouldnt put a 9 turn in. drains the pack wayyyy fast. And nearly all the escs that holds motors down that far usually will cost you a pretty penny. say $90 and up.

what about a duratrax esc? what type of motor? nothing higher than 17 turns

If i was you, i would get a Novak Rooster (reverable down to 12 tunrs i beilive) or a super rooster, reversable and holds any turn mod motor. its $90 tho.

for the motor i would get a 12 turn speed gem
get more opinions before you go buying something tho
