Hitec RCD Lynx 3D vs. Air M-8?

I just purchased the Lynx 3D and love it. Is the Airtronics M-8 any better? Worse? Why? I just can't see spending $60 or $80 bucks more for a radio that has been out for so many years.

How about the Futaba 3PJ? or the JR R-1? Let me know!

The Lynx is one bad *** radio. I really like and i think it is one of the better ones out there and affordable.

I f you have the money go with the M-8 if you have a lot of exess money get the R-1.
It is like the B3 XXX deal the B3 has been out longer but is just as good if not better than the xxx.

I have A 3D and love it.I think it is just as good as the M8. they both have all the same features(10 model memory,etc...)And the
3D is less expensive.

does the 3d have a programable shift button? like could i use it with my emaxx? also does it have a lap counting system?

i know this may sound stupid, or wierd, but how stiff is the throttle? like my dad has the airtronics FM 2 channel, the one just short of a computer, and it has the weakest throttle, yet my futaba (the new one) 2pk, or the magnum sport, has a great stiff throttle. whats the 3d like? thanks
