Battery question

after leaving a battery on a discharger too long, when charging it again, one cell gets very hot before the others are even warm...this is cell reversal, correct?
and it won't ruin the esc (streak) to run a battery like this will it? (ive seen no change in performance)

It shouldn't hurt your ESC. You should just cut the bad cell out and replace it with a new one. New cells generally cost $5-$8 depending on what you want.

if this pack is a seven cell, just go ahead and take out the bad cell, and run the batterie is a six cell.
