Howdy all, I just built an 11 turn double and was wondering what timing I should go for? My old 12 turn cranked it up to 30 degrees, does this sound good for an 11 turn? Thanks!

I usually run 20-30 degrees for racing. If you want to extend life of the comm turn it down.

Derek, you're the man. Thanks for the *FAST* info! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif I broke it in at about 15 degrees. I'll bump it up and go for broke!

Another question since I have you here, maybe... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif How much, if any play should there be for the arm? I have a stainless washer up front, the little fiber washer, and another stainless behind at the endbell. There is NO play at the moment, if I take a stainless out at the endbell there is more play than I think should be there. Any words of wisdom on this matter? Thanks again!

You should shim the motor jsut so that it barely moves, if you cannot at all, then you will have some major friction going on. I say a little too much play is better than none
