Paradox 2K Pro is your best bet (P2K Pro), get a Novak Fusion, and use either a 20T Pinion for lots of running time, good accleration, but somewhat slow speed (I use a Novak Atom, 20T, and a P2K Pro on my B3 and it crusises at 45 mph), or use a 24T for lots of speed, less runnign time, and slow accelration. Hope this helps,

So get a
P2K Pro (About $30)
Novak Fusion (about $60 to $70 [it's worth the money trust me, I'm 14 and starting a career in r/c racing]
and Pinions about $1 to $3. If yo uwnat your monys worth get a Zero Gravity Pinion (20 or 24)

I have a Trinity Monsters of Touring 17 turn double in my Protrax Rustler with a Traxxas XL-1 ESC and it is pretty fast for an electric truck. You really don't need an ESC to run up to a 16 turn motor on the stock Traxxas MSC. A technician at Traxxas told me that the stock MSC would handle my Trinity Speed Gems Ruby 16T double motor with no problems.

If you really want speed like I did, well I transplanted a Trinity Speed Gem2 Garnet 13T Double in my Rustler. It flies. The 13T Platinum doesnt have as much torque as the 13T Garnet.

If you want to Crusise a D4, Sonic2, or Speed gem that is 10x4 is what you want. Use a 18T pinion. End of discusion. Unless you want beginner class (stock) get a P2K pro.
