I am buying a HPI Sport 2 at christmas and I wondered what the recommended hop-up were. I want stuff that will significantly improve handling and/or speed. I will be running a Trinity P2k motor so what would be a decent gearing set up? I have been told to buy HPI Yellow and White progressive springs to stiffen it up. Any other suggestions?
Also, is it possible to make a saddle pack from a stick pack? I know how the whole process goes but are the cells evenly matched so that a good saddle pack could be constructed?

=is it possible to make a saddle pack from a stick pack?=
Well ask your local Hobby Store. I think you need a kit such as Trinity 6-7 Cell Battery Assembly Kit, use WS Deans 4 pin power Plugs.
Heres my Question- Is it possible to make a stick into a SidexSide?

You can make a stick pack into any shape pack you need or want.
Just get battery bars, single cell shrink wrap, wire and solder, and a good battery jig (Deans is best IMHO).
Cut off the stick pack shrink, and disassemble all the cells unitl you are left with six loose cells, and contruct your new configured pack. Simple as that.
