Right now mine is a 12.24 is this good? is lower better or higher? i can make it with my other pinions/spurs these: 11.59 11.16

I have the Speed Gem 2 ruby (16x2).
My question is similer,which Spur and pinion should I use? I currently have a 20 tooth and 22 tooth pinion and one 96 tooth spur gear. Not much to work with I know. I have a RS4 MT.

Stampede, i would go 87 spur, and 16 or 17 pinion, sorry Kojak, but i am unfamiliar with that trucks gear ratio.

another thing to keep in mind broken, is tires, if you like to run Mashers(2K) or the stockers, you may have to go lower than the suggest above

i do have stock tires.at one time i was told to try a varitey of different pinons/spurs

Try the 17/87, and if it is too much on the motor, drop down 1 tooth on the pinion like i suggested

My gear ratio is 2.6. I currently use a 20t pinion and 96t spur.

Kojak, i still am not aware of that cars driveline, since i have not owned one, i usually do not give gear tips to cars that i have not had experience with, but maybe someone else knows.
