how's the Novak XXTra receiver?

I've been looking through RCCA's Buyers Guide and the Novak XXTra reciever sounds real nice! It's supposed to be just like the XXL but you never need Rx crystals,... you just turn the clickers!

A few Q's:

What do you all think of this Rx? (is it really just as good as the XXL?)

It looks a little bigger than the XXL,... will it take up too much space in my TC3?

I have a JR XR3 - will I use JR Tx crystals with this combo?

Well, it does have all the same technology as in the XXL, so I'm sure it'll work fine. As for space, even though it's bigger than the XXL, it still looks quite small, so I'd think it'll fit on your TC3 with no trouble. I want the XXXTRA Rx w/ the hitec lynx 3-D radio with the synthisized Moudle. The I would never use another CRYSTAL AGIAN.

I was thinking the exact same thing since i saw that rcracer_xxxt_futaba!
