Electronics space in the TC3 is very tight, I have a Novak Atom esc, because its small and will be getting an aileron servo to increase space for my reciever, which, right now is just a standard Airtronics unit, but I will get a Novak XXL, again to increase space.
The TC3 can handle just about any motor you stuff in it, with 10 turns being the mod standard these days, but even my paradox pro will get the back end out of shape if your not smooth on the throttle getting out of turns.
For wheels and tires just about any combo will do but if I were you I'd pick up a pack of 8 wheels from ofna (way cheaper than buying pairs) and Pro-line ST slicks in S3 compound.
The batteries you buy depends on your motor, 1500 or 1700mah is fine for stock motors but if you run mod I'd go 2000 or 2400mah.
Usualy 60/40 solder from radio shack is fine but if you have a bottemless wallet you can get silver solder, which has lower resistance.
The Atom ESC includes all the wire you'll need to install it in the TC3.
I hope I helped http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
