Old Tamiya Avante, ideas anyone?

I've had this car since it was new and its been too damaged for action for a while now. Mainly front suspension damage which I can't figure out exactly. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether this car is worth restoring or should I put it up on e-bay. Any input or suggestions are highly appreciated.

That thing could just about be classified as vintage. It might be worth fixing as a showpiece or for just messing around. If its to be your only car or a race vehicle, I would probably retire it and spend the cash you would have on repairs on a new kit instead. I'm not even too sure if parts are still around. Anyone else know?

I saw one in a Milwaukee hobby shop 2 weeks ago. This place look like they dont do much business but he had that along with other old kits. The old mam just said make an offer those have been there for years. He had sonic fighter, big wig, vanquish, scorcher, the avante, and the fox with a big parts box for the fox, older RC10's. It was like a time warp.

Put it on eBay. An Avante in excellent shape will go for $300. Parts are a little tough to find so most likely someone will buy it to cannibalize the parts.

Now, if it were mine, I would restore it. If you want to take that route, let me know what parts you need and I'll see if I can help.

I think I'm going to hold onto the car for now. I really do love it and it's a real kick to drive. I've been looking at parts on E-bay and it looks like I may be able restore it in the future when I have more time and money. If and when I decide to go that route, I'll see if I can find you RichieRich. I'd like to thank everyone else for their input also. This is a great forum full of really nice people.
