Guys, I was using the pede today which I recently bought a Duratrax Streak ESC. Well, whenever I jump the thing, the entire car shuts down, but it will reboot a few minutes later. I don't think that there was too much heat on the motor or the ESC since it was about 55 degrees out when I used it. Any suggestions why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

It could be the connectors from the esc to the motor come undone enough to make it sop, and when you pick it up it lets them touch again, but i dought it if it takea a few minuets for it to start again. Are you sure the esc isnt hot? some esc's have protection against overheating, so they shut off when they get to a certain temp. But i guess it would be kind hard to overheat at 55 degres.. but it could happen i guess.

Yes, that esc has thermal overload protection. Just because it is 55 degrees out though doesn't mean that internally the esc isn't hot. It is either that or like the other guy said, the wires might have come lose.
