Traxxas???

I know an ESC is better than a MSC, so all i want to know is what ESC should I get if I want to get an engine somewhere beteen 14x2 and 17x2?should I get reverse? What does an ESC do with brake? As you can tell I am a starter and want a Rustler.
Engines are Nitro and Motors are Electric, its annoying when people do that, sorry. Are you going to race your Rustler (I did)? If you are, or if your not, get a Super Rooster. It has reverse disable w/brake and reverse. It can hold 10 cells and any motor/dual motor combination. An ESC comes in 3 different versions: Forward/Reverse, Forward only and "reverse" is actually the brakes. and Forward/Reverse and Forward with reverse disable "brake". Any more Q's?

How much is the super Rosster?
Plus, what is the difference between the Traxxas Rustler and the Protrax Rustler? r they the same with differnt paint jobs or what?
The regular Rooster is $70. The better ESC is the Super Rooster at $109.99. Theres no diference betweent the 2 besides, umm, I dunno.

Traxxas???: This is just my personal say, but don't get the Rooster cuz it is a total rip off for the 70 bucks you pay for it. I guess you might want a reversibles speed control. Check out the New Futaba MC330CR. It is rated at 13T+. It is good. I myself have a Tekin Rebel. It is good to. Check it out at www.tekin.com (http://www.tekin.com) The Rooster is excellent for monster trucks with dual motors, and it will do in a Rustler. It cost over 100 bucks cuz it can handle two motors. Unless you plan to put 2 motors in your rustler why pay for a feature like that. It is your choice to make. I run a 13T in my Rustler with a Tekin Rebel and it doesn't over heat. Sorry but I forgot Futaba's site address.

The pro-traxx rustler comes with bearings a radio slipper clutch and an traxxas XL-1.
It is alright but in my opinion it takes all the fun out of buying hop-ups. Maybe its just me. It also comes with crome rims.
