So I finally got around to installing my DP drag link... and I'm not sure if I'm having problems with this particular one or if all of them are like this.

First of all, the ball cups screw right through it with no resistance at all.. therefore it's not on there tightly at all and still seems sloppy. Secondly, it seems too wide for the steering arms. It doesn't put any resistance on the back of the arms, so it can wiggle back and forth.

I get the same amount or more play then stock..

I ordered mine on Dec. 30, and I'm still waiting. We're both bummed.

I got mine within a week.. but im wondering if this is ''normal'', if i got a defective one, or this link just all around sucks? I've heard it's great.. but it doesn't seem to be an upgrade for me

Which one did you order? I bought the clear piece and it was too tight! That was easily remedied though with a little sandpaper, and now with a couple of shims on the axles there's very little slop at all-What's left is due to the servo saver.
Associated ball cup dust covers may help a little, but if it's really loose I'd contact DP for a replacement.

I placed an order with them on 1-16-06. Received an e-mail on 1-17 stating it would be shipped 2-3 day priority mail with a tracking number. So far the tracking number says it wasn't shipped yet. Was hoping to have it over the weekend. :(

I got my shipping notification 10 days ago... ominous, as they are located about 90 miles away from me. They seem to be really good at ignoring e-mails, too.

I got the delrin one..

One side is almost snug.. and one side is super sloppy. It barely fixed any slop.. not what i had heard it will do.

Mine just showed up... fits perfect. Dunno if it was worth the wait for the drag link, but the gear cover is the hands-down best mod for the RC18.

I'm skeptical of ordering the gear cover after having this drag link.. I'm honestly considering putting the stock back on.

Have them replace it for you. As I said, mine fits perfectly, it just took damn near forever to show up (31 days from order to delivery). Great fitment on both parts, though.
