AM GONNA BUY A HPI KIT, BUT TORN BETWEEN THE SPORT AND PRO 2 KITS. WHAT ARE THE MAJOR DIFFERENCES IF ANY IN SPEC AND PERFORMANCE, AND CAN THE SPORT BE UPGRADED TO THE SAME SPEC AS THE PRO2. THIS WOULD SAVE ME PUTTING OUT A LARGER OUTLAY OF CASH.

ANY THOUGHTS?

The Pro 2 is the hopped up version. It has better parts all around. If you buy the sport, then buy the same parts that the Pro2 has, you will end up spending more money then just buying the Pro2. It's up to you.

The Pro2 is the better deal, if you are even considering adding hop-ups to the Sport2. The price of the Sport2 + Ball Diffs is more than the the Pro2 alone. You will need to buy a body for the Pro2 but it still comes out cheaper to start with the Pro2 unless you know you will never upgrade from stock on the Sport2. I almost went with Sport2, but decided at the last minute to go with the Pro2. I'm glad I did.

What do you mean 4 feet in the air is not what you meant by "off-road"?
