Hi There,

Hope you can help me. I am new to RC Cars and have just received this motor and am not sure which way round to put it in.

The instructions say make sure the rotation direction of the motor is correct, the direction of the motor is counter-clockwise when viewed from the gear end but this seems to be able to turn both ways and I am therefore a bit confused?

Does the chip capacitor sit facing up or down?
Or do the black and red wires sit on the bottom or top of motor
Thanks for your help

I have installed motors before, and the best way is to install the + and - wires on top. It makes for an easier connection. If you are using a regular esc, the direction you put the motor in won't matter. No matter what, your esc will correctly rotate it and if not, you can always use reverse on your controller!!

It won't really reduce it as long as you aren't blocking the air intakes.
