NIMH HAS BEEN OUT FOR LONG TIME!!!

i just found out that my really really old laptop has 2500mah nimh cells from like ten years ago and just now r/c has been using them, not only that but these are AA cells in it, so ten years ago they may have had C cell 3000's or 2500's nimh packs. why has r/c only had them 4 bout a year?

i'm guessing a lot of testing has been going on, because of the high amp draws of rc uses they had to test and test and test

NiMH technology has just recently advanced to the point where this battery type can handle the amp draws of R/C motors.
