It seems like touring car has taken over the on-road scene and pan car are vurtually non-existent. What's up with that? In early 90's, there were bunch of small pan car makers. They're all pretty much dead now. HPI reinvented it self to a touring car company. Bolink stopped selling competitive pan cars. Trinity and Associated are the only two company that make decent pan cars. It's interesting how the off-road companies are all making touring cars and the on-road market got swollowed up by off-road companies.

There are a few other companies making pan cars. Most of them use the Associated front end and just have slight differences in rear end and chassis. The thing is that with a pan car, you can only do so much (not much) as far as the design. The touring car world gives more flexablilty for creative designs. I just recently found a great indoor carpet banked oval. So, I pulled my RC10LSO out of the closet and dusted it off. The guys are also starting a road course outdoors. I just bought a used Trinity Evolution to run on the road course.

We have about 5 old 10l's that we run every winter at our club. Way to fast and much fun with 10 turns in them!
