TC3 or TA04?

I have an opportunity to get either a TC3 Team kit or a TA04 for the same low price. Which one should I go for? From what I hear the Tamiya is much more durable, but it seems as though the TC3 is more high end. What are the pros and cons?

i have a team tc3 and its bad *** and very comptitive out the box and came in second at the ifmar worlds but the tao4 i think came in backin the pack . but theres nothing wrong with it i just prefer the tc3 for racing

The ta-04 is a good car. I have been running one and it's performance is great. Not much needs to be done to the stock setting to get it competitive. The diffs are very smooth too. I race in stock class in my country here and the car can be geared (using a 4.77 ratio)for speed without losing out in aceleration and my car is bone stock . It's a good buy. Tamiya is releasing hop-up parts like front one-way diff, heat shink motor plate and many other stuff for the car.
