I'm thinking of getting an electric truck to add to my collection. I've got a Monster Pirate and a Monster Blazer and I'm wondering if you think I'd be bored and unimpressed with an electric truck such as the Losi Dirtspec w/ a relatively fast machine wound modified?

Thanks for your replies!

One time I put my 9-turn in my XXX-T with some paddels and a LOT of sand.... It "chucked" as much as my GT.

unless your running it on a prepped track, then yes you will.

Well, yeah, they're really good neighboors so I try and keep the peace. Heck, he's even letting me borrow his farm tractor so I can make it.

It's a decent truck! I have one and the only thing it needs is a bearing kit! If you're not going to race "Spec" class, then I would suggest getting better tires. Those spec ones are made out of recycled something and wear down pretty quickly. Mine seem to last about 15 races and then need to be replaced :/ But the truck is great for the price!!

Well, I'm about to build a small track in my yard so that's why I was asking. I don't want to drive my neighboors insane w/ the sound of a screaming .21 every day...lol

Maybe I'll check one out then. Thanks for the replies.

Kewl! I've decided to go with the buggy though. I've heard they are faster and jump better because they're lighter. Besides I haven't owned a single buggy r/c yet so it'll be something different for a change.

I may be a newbie to this whole racing thing, but I used to have a cheap store buggy from Wal-mart. I ran it in the dirt 4 awhile then it broke so I took a hammer to it, you know just 'cuz I could... I think I should shut up now...

hey i would go with associated's B3 buggy. i, and many others seem to find AE better than Losi.... and vise versa. but just for the note apparently after reading a track test from RCCA about the spec series from losi the blue tires smell REALLY REALLY bad. and if u decide to change ur mind and stay with a truck go with the T3. whatever you choose i doubt you will be dissapointed. losi and AE have been neck and neck for years and theres not alotta difference between the 2. i'm sure you'll be please with your new off roader. (still... GO AE!!!)

I would like an E-Maxx, but I've already had my fair share of monster trucks. It's time for something different. I'll most likely go with the Losi spec buggy or the B3 team kit.
