Not necessarily for competition....what's good for just screwin around in a parking lot? Should I invest in NiMH 3000 cells cause with this investment, I need a better charger too.

I think the Maxx Paxx are pretty good for playing around. They go for about $43 for a 2 stick-pack package, pretty good deal in my opinion.
Integy also has some well-priced, matched 2400's (loose cells) for about $35.

cool...the integy's look decent...what are the differences between the different models?

Jason's right, for playing around, I'd stick with good, NiCd's, like the packs he mentioned.... :)

I'm running integys, and they work well.

As for the numbers, they list runtime, etc.. so.. a 1.17 / 421+ is a 1.17 volt cell that is putting out about 421 seconds of runtime.. I've got the packs that go for like 37.95 a piece and they've worked great.

yea those are good. u runnin' mod. or stock? Pirahna's 1800's are pretty good or any of the dynamite batteries are too. what i would do is look for Duratrax's RC2000's or 2400's. they have Sanyo cells and Sanyo is a really good cell manufacturer.
