You COULD run it, but replacement parts are going to be hard to find. There are still random parts that can be found for the tranny and the shocks will still fit, but you might not be able to find the other suspension parts, which are going to be the firt ones to break.

That's a great old car, the last of the old aluminum tub RC-10's, which are legendary. I recently purchased a World's car to mess around with and possibly race, just for fun. My local Hobbytown still has a good supply of parts for the older cars, I bet you could order what you need right from Associated too if you had to. Replacement body.....this is a little bit of a problem, the kit came with the RC Performance Specialties "Turbo Mirage" which is long discontinued and hard to find (if anyone knows where to find one please tell me!). You can still get some other bodies that will fit fine but I don't think they look near as good. In any case, break that thing out and run it!!

My wife has been wanting to get into racing. I still have my old RC-10 Worlds car and it's in excellent shape except for the battery and maybe the motor. Anyways, I was curious if parts for this car are still upgradeable if anything should get broken? The car is probably close to 10 years old, but I figure it would be a good place for my wife to start since stock electric is reasonably slow and not TOO expensive. How about the body? Is there a body out there that will fit this car? Thanks for any info! Matt

I heard Associated maybe re-remarketing the original RC10. I'm gonna get one and convert it into another Rc10MT :)

I'm pretty sure that Tower still has a few of the Viper bodys still in stock. That was the body that came on the Team Car.
