I have a Traxxas (Novak) model 3014 Esc that I want to use to run one 12 volt motor from one 12 volt battery. This ESC is setup to run two motors from two 7.2 volt batteries.
Anyone know what the wiring harness should look like?

I used the speed control from my traxxas villain on a stock 775 can motor.
I took the speed control apart, and found the both motor leads came from ONE tab on the circuit board, so I just cut off one set of motor leads, and ran the other to the 775. You may be able to do the same for the input..
antique,
I've not seen the ESC you have so just a suggestion. Make very sure that it actually does handle seperate motor/battery combinations, and doesn't 'add' the two batteries inside the ESC (may not make a lot of sense but don't know how esle to say it). If the ESC does handle things that way, increasing the voltage from 7.2 to 12 volts ~may~ be bad for it's health, as in exceding it's ratings. (No idea so take that for what it's worth.)
If you're adventurish, take the thing apart, as 'Ball Racing' suggested, and see if it really does what it says it does. If you can do so without destroying it, and if you know what you're looking at when you do. (Not sure I'd want to try that, but then I'm 'chicken'!)
Good luck

Thanks for the replys,,,,, I finally gave up and bought a controller designed for this application. 12 volts in and 12 volts out with reverse.
