As some of you know I am running an R/C club at the school that I teach at. I attempted to purchase Easy-Rc's LapTrack (twice). Anyway, they failed to send me the code to open the full version. I have tried to contact Easy-Rc, Interlyn (their website administrator) and PayPal, on the matter with no response.

All I need is a cheep lap counting program. I have tried the eyeball method twice but I can see were this will lead to confusion. Do any of you know of some way to help?

Thanks Mr. Nord

Line up the cars at the starting line. Blow the whistle and run the clock for 5 minutes or however long you want to run races. At the end of five minutes, stop all the cars in their positions on the track and determine the order. I haven't actually seen this in action but I've heard it works well for smaller scale cars (Mini-Z and similar) and when there are only about five cars on the track.

The AMB system is likely far too expensive for what you're going to be using it for but there are some smaller and cheaper alternatives out there. I'll talk it over with some of the local micro experts here who are running those systems and I'll see if I can get back to you.
