Do I need to buy foam inserts?

Do I need to buy foam inserts for my TC3? I'm looking at HPI x pattern radials. They come with foam inserts. Do I need to buy the other ones or will the ones that come with them be fine?

Are you racing or just tooling around in front of the house? If you're tooling, the stock ones are fine. If you want to race, you might want to find out what the other guys at the track are running. The usually come in hard, medium, or soft compounds, and each will cause the car to drive different.
