Hi i am looking to buy a new servo for my xxx and what is the difference in getting a ball bearing servo vs. the standard sevo except longer lasting time in a ball bearing.

Typically the transfter speed from side to side is much faster in a ball bearing servo. You might want to look at Cirrus servos at Hobbypeople; they have several servos with good speed, metal gears, etc.
Honestly, if you are going to spend the money for a new servo, get a servo with bearings. Cirrus has a couple good models for around 25 bux.
