I just started painting my new bodie and I got my first color on and I guess I did not get all the oil off b/c I have spots where the paint is not sticking. Any way to remove all the paint and just start over?

Thanks in advance.

If you use search, there are numerous threads on this already.

OR

pour a bunch of denatured alcohol onto the paint and scrub with papers towels and cue tips. I had a body with 6 month old paint and it came right off.

thanks everyone. soaking in water and dish soap overnight seamed to do the trick. now I just have to finish getting the sticky off from the masking tape I used. Stupid me did not remove the tape before soaking in water. You would think it would pull right up after soaking but, no.

Will that work with RTR bodies that came with crappy paint?

I don't think it would work. The RTR bodies have paint that is screened on, so it's not necessarily paint. The work involved in removing the screening from RTR bodies and the eventual damage to the lexan from the removal just doesn't make it feasible for most people. It's easier to scrape up the money for a new body.
