I got some good NiCds for racing my T3, but I am thinking about NiMh3000's for my E-Maxx, for bashing. What are the main pros and cons?
Also, since the NiMh are supposed to have nill memory, is it really necessary to dishacrge them at all? I know you should not run them down dead in the R/C, but not sure about the discharge. I know if you do, to use a 5.4, but why do it at all??

I don't think they need to be completely discraged(someone correct me if im wrong)
I think it is also recomended that they should have something like a half charge in them at most times.
MiMH has more punch and longer run times. It also requires a NiMH compatable charger for it.
hope this helps.

SMH have more punch then cads, but regular Metals dont have the pumch needed for stock racing. Metals dont need to be discharged, but they like to be stored with a little power left in them.

Intellipeak if your on the cheap (sub $80) or Novak, if you don't mind spending the dough ($120+). I have an Intellipeak and works great for my 3000 and 2400's.
