XXXNT mod

i have a big race comming up the 20th of this month and will be racing my XXXNT. my problem is that i will be using rechargable AA cells in the reciever and the reciever battery holder is screwed into place. i was wondering if anybody knows a mod to change the battery holder so i dont have to unscrew 4 long bolts just to recharge. is there a way i can hold it on with zip ties or body clips? thanks for any help

First why AA's? They best thing I have found is the Native Racing battery box. Works great and is perfect for the Venom reciver pack. But I guess you could drill small holes in the cover and the bottom and use zip ties and just cut them to recharge.

i am using dry AAs because they are 2500 mAh and last along time. as for the zip ties, could you show me a pic or something? i dont quite understand what youre saying

to anwser your question i think you only need two screws diagnollay from each other to hold the battery box cover on. And if that still takes to long you could cut them down. They will still hold as long as there is a certain amount of thread.

Just get an on/off switch with a charge jack, and never have to open the box.
