Is any old receiver ok?

I have an old 2 channel AM Futaba receiver. Will this be ok to use in a TC3? I know I have lot's of newbie questions...it's been a long time since i've been in this hobby.

As long as your radio will talk to it, it should be fine. AM works well for most people and I've found that it really isn't a problem until you go to big races or run somewhere with a lot of interference.
