hmmmmm not much to go by!What kind of car is it?Four wheel drive? Two wheel drive? All depends....maybe a p2k or mvp for stock racing and something like a speedgems(if you lookin' to save cash)or a machine wound mod from reedy. You can get good race motors without having to spend lots of $$$!!If its a hand wound motor you want then go with a D4 or Ti by reedy....or if you want to be your own person(like me..don't like to run what everyone else is) then go with a race prep mod!I've been using them since the late 80s' and they are fast!Mike Dunn is the man you need to talk to.He'll take care of you!Visit them at www.raceprep.com (http://www.raceprep.com) ;)

hmmmm... if you want cheap speed then go for a machine wound modified motor. reedy pulse-r is about $25, peak performance stratos $27, trinity speed gems for around $30 but i don't recommend them. everyone uses them but the stratos will blow it away. team orion makes some cheap ones too. just make sure ur speed control can handle the power. :D
it's a supra. it has TOO much power. who actually makes the 'supra rc'???? tamiya? i've wanted a real toyota supra for 2 years now even though i just turned 15 in april. :p it's all good

well if your going into stock racing, get a MVP. I got mine the other day, and it is just a little slower then my integy 10x3.
But if your going Mod. and want a cheap Mod, go for a Trinity Monster of touring, or trinity speedgems.

MATRIX motor. I had a 7.5R and that thing smoked everyone else despite the fact I had a heavier truck. Its even faster than my 15T Q. They are P2K clones but they are wicked fast for stock motors.

Actually, Tokyo Kid, the motor in the link you provided is a Peak Spitfire, a competition stock motor(like the Trinity P2K or Green Machine 3, or Reedy MVP). It's ok as stocks go, but unless you're running on a very tight track, it won't be able to hang with nitro cars. For the pure speed on a budget, I'd suggest something like Trinity's Speed Gems motors, they're machine-wound mods & deliver a good bang for the buck..... :)

I have seen some BALLISITIC Trinity Chameleon motors, they are a "spec" type modified motor, they are amazingly fast, and cheap.
Get the "Pro" Dyno tuned version.
EDIT: Have you ever noticed your little picture never works? I would just stop trying to post it after every reply, hehe, that is just my 2 cents.

Like I've said, it all depends on how much room you have to run. No electric will actually put out more power than a nitro engine, but electrics accelerate much better, so if the track or space you have is tight enough, then a good electric will hang with them pretty well. The Speed Gems motors are available in several winds, from 19 turns down to 9(I believe), but to start with, I'd suggest something like their 17 turn(I don't remember which color that one is, all Speed Gems are color coded by the wind), that will certainly be a good improvement over your oroginal motor & it'll do better alongside nitros. If you still need more, you'll need to make sure your speed control can handle it.... :)
