I plan on buying some world class 2000's from them off tower for oval racing. They look good bacuase there averge voltage is like 1.205 when cut off at .85 volts per cell. Why dont any of the pros use them, and are they any good.

The pros used to use 2000s, but have upgraded to 2400 and 3000 mAH packs. In some cases (like the stock-metal hydride), the newer packs have higher voltages, plus longer run times (which the pros need because they use 9 turn motors in oval racing).

I knew that but I was wondering why pros dont use the peak performance brand?

Who says they don't? I'm sure there are plenty of guys who do run them(especially those who're sponsored by Peak), but if you don't see those guys in the A Mains of the biggest races, well, who knows? I kind of doubt it's simply the batteries they use..... :)

Peak batteries are in all the pro Peak team driver's cars. Check out the "Results" section at peakmotors.com and you can see that Peak rivals, Trinity, Reedy, and Orion when it comes to performance.

I should also add that we have discontinued the 2000 cells. The equivalent would be the PEK49061 RC2400 World Spec cells. These are the cells used to win the ROAR Stock Nationals 2wd, 2wd Stock at the Winter Champs and Expert Stock Truck at the Cactus Classic.
