I'm completely new to R/C cars so please bear with me. I have a TC4 and I bought some JACO foam tires to replace the stock rubber ones. Here (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXCME4) is what they look like. The problem is that I don't understand how they fit. The Jaco tires do not have the hex shaped receiver for the hex/star shaped nut on the TC4 nor does it have a receiver for a dowel pin like I have seen on other cars. Its just a plain circular hole. What am I missing? I've tried googling it but I can't find anything, but I may be using the wrong terminology. Thank you for any help and excuse my ignorance.

Unfortunatly those Jaco tires are for 1/10 scale pan cars, not 1/10 scale touring cars. The 1/10 scale pan cars (mostly oval only) are only 2wd. Because of this, the tires you ordered won't be compatiable. Because they are the front tires for a 1/10 scale pan car, they have those holes in order to hold bearings for the front axle. There is no drive pin or hex because those tires are meant for a car that does not provide power to the front wheels :o

Its to bad that you bought those tires by mistake, but jaco does make foams for 4wd touring cars if your still interested.

Oops. I'll just return them and order the correct ones. Thanks for your help.

Before you order check with Jack Rimmer at Jaco send him an email describing the surface you intend to run on and he may be able to give you information on what compound to use as a start. Foams are only going to work on a prepared suface like carpet, concrete or asphalt. The green compound may not be available for TC cars, generally on carpet for front the Double Pink or Pink/Orange is used while on rear Purple or Hard purple is a good starting point. The touring car tires are location one section down or on the next page. Stormer prices are a little better in case you wnated to know.
