Thats right ive seriously had it with this stupid chassis. Im about to give up on it altogether.

First the front diff blot snapped ran around and found a replacement 1 day later the rear diff bolt snapped and no... it was not too tight it i double checked both. This is happening with a stock 540J motor imagine with a modifed this is just rediculous. Its a **** design and manufactuer defect from tamiya.

Now im gonna order the TB Evo III front one way... can someone tell me if i get 2 of these diff kits can i put rear + front Evo III one ways...

thanks

How old is it? it should have a warranty on it if so get your money back or a replacement, if it is passed its warrenty date thing then why are you angry it has had over 12 months of running ofcourse it is going to wear

its less than 2 weeks old been run for no more than a hour... so yes thats why im pissed.

LHS wont refund it cause they are trying to say i tightened the diff bolts too tight.

my last try will be Evo III one way kits just need to know if i can fit up 2 of the one ways rear + front

thanks

was it a build it yourself kit or a rtr? if it was rtr say you didn't touch the screw and you don't even know what screw it is

tb-02 kit version trust me i did not overtighten double checked

its a common problem went through the tb-02 racing forum and heaps off people had the same bolt snap issue.

anyone know if the TB Evo III front one way unit will also fit the rear i wanna get 2 one way units front + rear fitted up that will show the diff bolts !!!!

it will also mean you wont have ANY brake and the car will basically free-roll when you let off throttle so how you plan on stopping is beyond me!

not happy then their no way im gonna spend new bucks to rebuild those crappy diffs... another problem today i managed to get a simular bolt that fits and this time the one of the front diff cups snapped a peice off and the dogbone went flying.... tb-02 is now in ebay i think i will try team associated instead.... TC4 ???? hows that compare to the tb-02 ? whats the pros/cons in difference thanks

I would highly recommend the tc4(I had the Tc3 and I like it a lot)...but don't forget about Xray. I found an Xray FK04 for a good price and I am still competive at the track(even though all of them spend $$$$$ on the latest and greatest). My Xray also just does not break....I have not broken a single part this season...but I've broken a few rims

As far as comparing it to the Tb-02, can't help you there. I'm just suprised that Tamiya screwed this one up...I've never had a bad experience, just great ones :D

The TC4 is BETTER than the TB-02....Ha Ha!

I like Tamiya kits. I have a TT-01 and a TB Evo 4 and they work/run well.
-I don`t like Ball Diffs and 1-Ways so I have Front and Rear Bevel Gear Diffs on My TT-01 and TB Evo 4. . . . .Full Braking Power.

See if you can get a Bevel Gear Diff for the TB-02.

Take Care.

i doubt u can convert the tb-02 to bevel gears. not enough room in the diff housing and so on. your right about the braking i had a go at my cuzints TL-01 with 20T motor the braking power is phenominal.

Gear diffs are also great for going around a roadcourse  All the power is sent to one wheel(the wheel off the ground) and you lose traction.

Leave the gear diffs on for bashing and ball diffs for racing.

I don't get it... I've been running 11t brushed with foams in my stock TB02 for ages and I've never had any problems with the diffs
