Hello! I was wondering what the best on-road electric RTR car is for under $300.
So far I have been looking at the T4 and the XXX-S.
I am open to any other suggestions.
(Which car is the fastest RTR)
I would also like a car with many hop-ups/replacement parts.
Thanks,

Also, why can't I go in and post in the electric on-road forums? It is locked and won't let me post.

Go cruise ebay for a TC3. Very cheap, capable cars, and can be upgraded to the moon. You also cant start new threads in those forums because they are purely about the cars not individual threads with questions for them. Try the electronics or electric forum.

The TC4 and the XXX-S are both good choices. I'd personally go with the TC4 just because it's shaft driven but since you're looking at the RTRs the XXX-S might be a better choice. It cost a little more but u get a better radio and servo and the shock bodies are aluminum instead of the plastic or composite ones on the TC4. (Just cool for looks I guess, there isn't anything wrong with plastic shock bodies) I’m not sure which car will be faster out of the box but the esc in the TC4 can handle motors down to 13T I think and the XXX-S can take motors down to 15T so you’ll be able to put a faster motor into the RTR TC4 without having to upgrade the esc.

Once you have a compatible Rx in the TC4 I dont see why not. Never heard of a chassis not being compatible with a Tx :)

I have the RTR, I am not sure if it is airtronics? but I know it is 27 mhZ. I plan on using my Futaba 27 AM, that's what I was wondering if they were compatible.

It should work if you use the same frequency/color crystals. I used a Airtronics blazer with my Traxxas receiver once.

Ok, thanks I am going to try it. I use traxxas rx with the futaba and works good.
