RCDRIVER Traxxas vehicles have a reputation for being built like a brick outhouse. Associated have a reputation for predictable handling.
What do you want to do with your RC Truck? Race or Bash. Either truck can do both. The Traxxas will be better suited for bashing, but with some upgrades it can be a capable race truck. On the other hand the T3 will be ready to race as is, but price wise its kinda expensive just for bashing.
If I were bashing I'd go Traxxas. It is a great truck, made by a great company. Their parts are in every hobby shop in North America and if you ever do decide to race you can do so.
If I knew I was going to race I'd definetly go with the T3. Also a great truck made by a great company. If you got the cash go for the Factory Team version. Its got the graphite components that shed some weight, which can be helpful if your racing stock. If you don't get the FT version the regular Team version is a very capable vehicle.
Most important remember to have fun.

Durability? The rustler is more durable than the t3. But the t3 is faster...so...that makes it less durable because the faster you hit something the more you break stuff. But if you have them going the same speed the rustler will be more durable. Though they are both great cars by great companies.

RCDRIVER001 i had a traxxas rustler for a year and a half and during that time i ran it pretty hard, but nothing ever broke down on it until it hit a brick wall. then when you picked up the truck the front suspension was hanging there. now i have a t3 and it never broke down until i went crazy one night and tried to go on a jump backwards:eek: then there went 8 bucks down the drain. hope this helps
