Most tracks are allowing the higher capacity cells up to 3800s, and have been approved by rc sanctioning bodies: ROAR, ARCOR, NORRCA. Hypercell (Hyperform is company name) Bones Motorsports are a couple new companies that provide batteries, motors (stock, 19turn) brushes, springs and other speed related parts. You may be seeing lower prices due to several reasons, GP3300 because of the higher capacity batteries or in case of IB3800 the cells had improvments that increased they normal voltage up to 1.20 -1.21 so the lower 1.19 and less aren't selling as well. Plus some racers are leaning towards the IP3800.

Certain tracks may limit batteries for certain classes they run, check with each individual track for rules.

The GP3700's are legal in the UK, the IB3800's will be legal from April onwards. The IB4200 will *probably* be legal from April as well.
