I've never heard of anyone running a t4 on carpet but the only changes I would make would be to lower the car as much as you can and make the suspension a lot stiffer.

I used to race my T3 on carpet and everyone at the track used Prolines Striker 2 tires. They worked pretty good.

We used to race trucks on carpet, some years back. I had a Lost JRXT. lowered it by placing silicone fuel line in the shock shaft, inside between the piston and the cartridge, or top of shock, and used a thicker shock oil as well. Proline Strikers worked great, gave better wear than foams did.

The manual's setup is pretty close for most tracks. To get it better dialed the best information will come from the local racers as far as tire compounds, spring rates etc that work best. Be sure to ask those using the same tire and vehicle (TC3, TC4 Team) the Factory TC4 is lighter and has a little more flex. Tire manufacturers who use the same color for their compounds, don't always have the same handling characteristics.
