I was wondering if i could get some info on these motors.

I want to create a high speed blower of a sort and need to know what voltage these motors run on. could they somehow run off a 12 volt battery ?

Also what the lifespan of these motors are. meaning i am going to need it to run in an on/off state it might run for 10 seconds at a time sometimes 30 seconds.

What the size of these motors are, considering i never saw one in real life yet.

how long it take to come up to full rpm.

any help i would appreacitate it. thanks

They're 130 sized motors, run at around 24,000-30,000 RPM at I think 3-5 volts, and spool up very quickly because they're so small. They'll last maybe a total of 4 hours runtime total? I guess it depends on load, but considering how fast they spin, that means more comm wear, which means less motor life.

i used to use those, they can hardly handle 2 AA rechargable motors. Unless your blowers are ultra small, theres no way that these will work

thanks for the replys , yeah im looking for a motor that will run off 12 volt and i want to hook up a 3-4 in fan on it. that will last 1000+ hrs.

and ideas?

motor has to be hi rpm i kinda want to make a supercharger to stuff air into the motorcycle airbox :)

i hope yo uare not looking for high results with that on a motorcycle.........the amount of cfm required to make substantial increases in h.p. will NEVER be done with a hooby-calss motor and a fan. to create positive atmosphere, you are talking compressing air to a degree that no little fan can ever achieve. i am not here to burst your bubble, its just that you will not get the "cheap supercharger" that you think you will. not only that, if you ever did create enoguh positive boost, you will need a way to releive it, i.e., a wastegate, and blow off valve under deceleration, or wave bye-bye to many a connecting rod. save your pennies, if you want a boost, turbo it.( turbos are not parasitic horsepower either.)

I think i found close to what im looking for, now these units will only be on when the throttle is wide open there will be a switch on the carbs some how not thought about yet for my DIY project. but yes i now know these motors will not do it, but ill show you my concept.

im not sure how well this will work, but my bike is a kawai ninja zx6e and they have used ram air for years on these bike, the problem with ram air is boost is minimal from 70 mph on

now i can make this with of all things. using a dremel , im going to do it i tell ya, either a power inverter and a 120 a/c dremel (because they have long life and 35k rpm) or use the cordless 10.8 vold dremel and hardwire it removing the battery. only problem is the life on the cordless might be alot less than the AC version.

well thanks for the info on the motors i had questions on. and ill check back to see if anyone has any input from my diy project.
