I am far from an experienced painter, but have a tip to share that I have not seen or heard of. May be usefull to some.
While painting, I find that I am rarely able to complete a project the same day it was started. At times the liquid mask has been peeled but no paint laid down yet. Also when moving a body from one area to another. As you know any and all dust bunnies will show up in the finished paint.
To remedy this I pilfer a sheet of saran wrap from the kitchen and seal it along the bottom of the shell,(I do not cut out my bodys before painting, which leaves a flat surface on the bottom) keeping all dust and other foreign debris from coming into contact with the work in progress.
Works for me.
