You will probably get better results from one of the mild 27Turn stock motors, very few companies are making a 23 turn motor, most will be 27turn from there 19turn and lower. Motors like the Trinity Monster Stock, Epic Roar Stock, Green Machine 3 are high rpm type motors while the Peak, Orion, Reedy MVP, Trinity P2K produce less rpm and if equipped with med to low silver brushes will have less wear. Depending on how dirty the area is you run vehicle in cleaning with RC motor cleaning should suffice, then reoil the bushing with 3in1 oil - a drop or 2 to each bushing.

I used a Tamiya Super Stock TZ Motor. It is a 23-Turn Motor. It`s a Fast Motor and you don`t have to Cut the Comm until about your 11th - Run.
-The Brushes are alright. They last for a long time.....(I`ve run the brushes down).
I have an extra Tamiya Super Stock TZ Motor.
-I don`t really want it.....I`ve moved on to faster motors.
You can get the Tamiya Super Stock TZ Motor from Tower Hobbies for about $35.00.
Take Care.
