Ok, I'll try to answer all of your questions, if I can....1. 26mm wheels & tires actually came first, with Tamiya's cars & they stayed the norm for awhile until we started to experiment with 24mm ones, & liked the lower rolling restsiance, so 24mm became the norm(but 26mm ones are still around, they might be of use when you're desperate for traction, they do change the tire's contact patch). 2. The TC3 needs wheels with 0mm offset, which is becomeing very common lately(Yokomo, HPI & many others besides Associated are using 0mm offset wheels now, if you use ones with some offset the car'll be wider than 190mm, which isn't allowed at tracks who use ROAR rules)...3. Actually, Associated's wheels are made by ProLine, so any ProLine wheels will fit, as do all others that have 0mm offset(see answer 2, personally I use Yokomo's wheels, & sometimes OFNA's)..I don't think you'll have any trouble finding proper wheels for your TC3, so just go with whichever ones look good to you.... :)

Just got my TC3 and have a few questions about wheels.
1.width 24mm or 26mm why the difference? 2mm isn't much.
2.Any special offset required for the TC3?
3.Will Proline,HPI etc wheels fit? Or do I have to use Associated only?
I want to pick up some extra tires and wheels for experimentation and want to make sure I get the right stuff.
