how do you gear a motor???

hey how do you gear a stock motor , if it matters it would be a mvp that i would want to gear

I'm gearing my FT B3 between 19/81 and 21/81 with a Green Machine 3 and it runs fairly well. Using an MVP or something with a little more torque and depending on the track you should be in the right area and may even be able to add a tooth or two. I'd stick in the 20ish range though.
