what does it do? and how much do i have to leave it for??? i have a vision peak (dynamite) at 4 amps...

A trickle charge is simply a low amperage charge that's supposed to help keep a battery pack peaked(sort of). If you used it to do the entire charge, it could take anywhere from 14-20 hours(or more, depending on the battery's capacity). The 4 amp charge of your charger isn't a trickle, but your charger will probably switch to trickle mode automatically when it senses that the pack is full(peaked). That's pretty common of most chargers, & only a few of them can even allow you to turn trickle mode off(should you wish to, & for NiMh cells, you have to)..... :)

Also, (i have the same charger) Basically the trickle charge is to keep your battery at its peak like the other dude said. But also i try and not let it go to trickle charge because I THINK not positive that when it switches to trickle charge that means its reached its peak, thus once it reaches the peak of it capasity the juice in it drops a bit. So.... cya
